Objective This article aimed to evaluate the application effect of multimedia network teaching in teaching gynecological endoscopic surgery. Methods 83 interns who rotated in Zhuhai maternity and child Health Care Hospital of Department of gynecology from January, 2013 to May, 2018 were selected, and were grouped by the different teaching methods. Interns in the control group(n=41) underwent the traditional teaching method, while interns in the experimental group(n=42) underwent the multimedia network teaching method. After the end of the teaching, the two groups were tested, and the teaching results of two groups were evaluated and analyzed. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge and clinical practice and total scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05). The satisfaction of the students in the experimental group was 95.24%, which was higher than that of the control group in the 73.17%(P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the influence of memory improvement, clinical processing ability improvement, surgical operation skill improvement and gynecological interest improvement on students in the experimental group was better(P < 0.05). Conclusion The application effects of multimedia network teaching in teaching gynecological endoscopic surgery are significant, which can enhance students’ interest, clinical opeartion ability, theoretical knowledge, etc, and it can also improve students’ satisfaction with teaching and effectively improve the quality of gynecological teaching, thus it is worth applying.
